Hand Crafted Wooden Oak Foot Stools
Check out these wooden foot stools designed by Doug and now personally hand crafted by Steve.
Like so many things that we make,
we had a member of our dulcimer group (that we started at our church) ask
about something to support her feet to
make playing more comfortable.
This is what Doug came up with. There are other foot stools out there
but most are
equal legs and he thought the slant top would be more
comfortable. The closure is not new.
That design has been around
for many years for different products. Doug just adopted the design for his
stool.
Doug's design has come from years of playing and watching
folks use cases
and other objects to prop up their feet.
